Cuando hablamos de seguridad ciudadana, estamos hablando de un concepto de seguridad integral, que incluye todos los factores que hacen a la comunidad, que de alguna manera o de otra pueden estar involucrados en la seguridad ciudadana ya sea como sujetos o como objetos.Al referirnos a los sujetos, consideramos que no es solamente la policía o las fuerzas de seguridad quienes pueden hacer trabajo de seguridad. Para nuestro caso trabajamos junto con el municipio, junto con las escuelas y los departamentos de educación, junto con los departamentos para el tiempo libre de la municipalidad y junto con empresarios, periodistas y otros actores.Seguridad ciudadana entonces es un concepto que cubre en cierta manera las 24 horas del día de la comunidad intentando generar mejor calidad de vida a partir de la preocupación de todos por todos y que no solamente la policía se preocupe de la seguridad.
